Nash's House & New Place

Nash's House & the site of New Place is closed until April 2016 for essential conservation work to preserve the Grade 1 listed building.

 

During this time the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust invites you to visit Harvard House - Stratford's hidden gem.

← only a 2 minute walk away, situated next to The Garrick Inn, Harvard House is Stratford-upon-Avon's most elaborately decorated Elizabethan house, built during Shakespeare's liftetime. Explore this unique three-storey town house and discover its fascinating story.

셰익스피어의 손녀인 엘리자베스 홀과 남편인 토머스 나쉬가 살았던 집으로 지금은 박물관으로 이용하고 있다. 1층에는 17세기 초의 오크로 만든 가구, 2층에는 셰익스피어 유물, 스트랫포드 어폰 에이번의 역사가 남아있다.1759년에 그가 살던 집은 헐리고 지금은 허브와 각종 꽃나무가 많은 정원과 터가 남아있다.
