The Dining Hall

The Hall was completely by 1529.

The unusual ceiling has a 'hammerbeam' construction, with richly carved and gilded ceiling bosses. on the panelled walls hang portraits of distinguished members of the college, including John Wesley, William Penn, and some fo the thirteen Prime Ministers educated at Christ Church.

크라이스트 처치 홀은 영화 <해리포터>에서 만찬을 즐기던 호그와트 마법학교의 식당으로 나온 곳으로 영화 촬영지로도 유명하다.

그레이트 홀 스테인드 글라스들중에는 <이상의 나라의 앨리스>의 등장인물들이 나오는 '앨리스의 창'이 있고, <이상의 나라의 앨리스>의 작가, 루이스 캐롤 Lewis Carrol 의 초상화도 만날 수 있다.
