클루지나포카(Cluj-Napoka) 출신의 헝가리 왕 마테이 코르빈(Matthias Corvinus)의 상이다

 

마테이 코르빈(1443.2.23-1490.4.6)은 1443년 이곳에서 탄생하여 1458년부터 1490까지 헝가리를 다스렸다.

광장에서 멀지 않은 곳에 왕의 생가가 있으며 조각상은 파드루스즈 져노스(János Fadrusz)의 작품이다.
