The cave in witch the text of Revelation was written by John in 95 AD is due to its prophetical character an extremely important pilgrimage area regardless of any religious doctrine.
The imposing atmosphere of the cave enables some to pray & other to meditate.
The places where, according to tradition, the Evangelist was resting are obvious as well as the enormous fissure in the rosk from which according to John. the voice of God was heard.
