프라하의 13개의 성문중 하나로

 

1475년에 건축된 프라하의 후기 고딕양식의 가장 유명한 유적,

체코 왕들의 대관식 행렬이 시 역내로 들어가는 상징적인 입구.

화약창고로 사용된 것에서 유래한 화약탑은 현재까지도 프라하 성으로 가는 대관식 또는 왕의 행차가 시작되는 곳. 

This monumental entrance by which the coronation processions of Czech kings entered the Old Town is one of the most significant monuments of Late Gothic Prague. Completed in 1475, the Powder Tower, which formerly served as a gunpowder store, is still the starting point for the Coronation or Royal Route to Prague Castle.
