This cross is erected and a prize in Trinity College founded in affectionate remembranse of Sir Samuel Ferguson. O.C.LL.D. Poet & Anthouary President of the Royal Irish Academy. Deputy Keeper of the Public records in Ireland. Born 1810, diet 1886. And of Mary Catharine, his revered wife. Eldest daughter of Robert Rundell Guinness of Stillorgan. Esouire. bron 1823. Died 1905. Two gifted authors in the field of Celtic Literature, whose memories are blessed.
