The inclined plane section (Galeria Plan Inclinat)

The digging of the inclined plane section was conditioned by the need of creating a new access way towards the underground, in order to serve the tourism activity, along with the Franz Joseph gallery.

The inclined plane section was dug between 1987 and 1988. It's dimensions are the following: length 45 meters, a level difference between the entrance point and the base of the stairs of 15 meters, an clinination of 20˚, and 107 stair steps.
