The Florentine Hall(Sala Florentina)
It is the first room of trhree used for reception and it was decorated between 1906-1910 in Italian Neo-Renaissance style. The ceiling is richly carved of gold plated lime wood; the chandeliers and the mirror are commissioned to Murano workshops. The bronze doors were made after the project of the Italian architect Luigi Magni, their frames and the monumental fire-place being made of Italian Paunazzo marble. As pieces of remarkable value one can notice the table with a top made of inlaid marble (17th c.) and two cabinets of ebony wood and decorated with semi-precious stones. The paintings are reproduction of A. van Dyck and P.P.Rubens.
Replacing the old Great Salon, it was set up as reception hall between 1906 and 1910, being decorated with late Florentine Renaissance items.
The basic decoration - Renaissance inspiration - includes the carved gilded lime wood ceiling, Murano glass chandeliers, a Venetian crystal mirror, the oak flooring and the bronze doors featuring allegorical characters.
The Paonazzo marble fireplace (Italy) is decorated with bronze reductions, replicas following Michelangelo's sculptures:
The Thinker, Sunset, and Dawn. Complementary, the floor is adorned with hand-made oriental silk carpets in Keshan (Persia) and Caesareea (Asia Minor) workshops.
